At the time of blasting, any neighbors upon their request will be <br /> notified by phone and each shot will be monitored by seismograph. <br /> Our normal hours of operation will be from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through <br /> Friday with an occasional Saturday. <br /> There is a proposed drive off the Northwest corner of the property onto County Trunk <br /> "N"that will be surfaced with recycled asphalt for the first 100 feet. <br /> Erosion Control Plan submitted under separate cover. <br /> No water will be used on site except for dust control. <br /> No operations will be conducted within 300 feet of an intermittent stream tributary to <br /> Little Door Creek to the east of this property. <br /> Project will not be visible from the road or neighbors except to the S.E. in the direction of <br /> initial opening. Site line to closest neighbor would be over 2000 feet across new highway <br /> and town road. <br /> The quarry site is to be used for the USH 12 & 18 project with reclamation to be <br /> completed by July 1, 1999. The Town of Cottage Grove requires a performance bond to <br /> comply with the restoration of this site. <br /> Fencing and proper signage will be installed for safety and warning purposes as well as <br /> lockable gates for the driveway off County Tk. "N". Drive will be gravel except for the <br /> entry,which will be recycled crushed asphalt. <br /> The equipment used will be for the purpose of crushing and screening of the limestone. <br /> All equipment will be portable including a scale for weighing the material. Equipment <br /> will be removed upon completion of the project. <br /> No on-site bulk fuel storage will be used. <br /> RECLAMATION PLAN: <br /> At the conclusion of the quarry operation the site will be reclaimed as indicated on the <br /> attached plan. Overburden and topsoil shall be replaced on the floor and slopes area will <br /> be returned to its agricultural use. This is a logical site for a quarry because the area is <br /> primarily agricultural and its location has good access to highways in the area. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> Legitimate concerns regarding quarrying operations usually center on the issues of the <br />
