At the time of blasting, any neighbors upon their request will be
notified by phone and each shot will be monitored by seismograph.
Our normal hours of operation will be from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through
Friday with an occasional Saturday.
There is a proposed drive off the Northwest corner of the property onto County Trunk
"N"that will be surfaced with recycled asphalt for the first 100 feet.
Erosion Control Plan submitted under separate cover.
No water will be used on site except for dust control.
No operations will be conducted within 300 feet of an intermittent stream tributary to
Little Door Creek to the east of this property.
Project will not be visible from the road or neighbors except to the S.E. in the direction of
initial opening. Equipment
will be removed upon completion of the project.
No on-site bulk fuel storage will be used.
RECLAMATION PLAN:
At the conclusion of the quarry operation the site will be reclaimed as indicated on the
attached plan. Overburden and topsoil shall be replaced on the floor and slopes area will
be returned to its agricultural use. This is a logical site for a quarry because the area is
primarily agricultural and its location has good access to highways in the area.
CONCLUSION:
Legitimate concerns regarding quarrying operations usually center on the issues of the
