OFSTHUN PROPERTY <br /> INTRODUCTION: <br /> Yahara Materials, Inc., entered into a lease agreement with Obert M. Ofsthun to <br /> open and operate a quarry on his property located at 2476 Hwy 12-18, Cottage Grove, WI <br /> 53527. Land is presently agricultural and will be returned to agricultural use upon <br /> reclamation at the site. The quarry site is to be used until completion of the STH 12-18 <br /> project. Reclamation to be completed by July of 1999. <br /> LOCATION: <br /> A 15 acre parcel of land located in the NW 1/4 and NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section <br /> 33, T7N, R11E, Town of Cottage Grove, Dane County; Wisconsin which lies north of <br /> new HWY 12 & 18, more particularly described as follows: <br /> Commencing at a point of intersection of S.E. corner of Ofsthun land and Hwy 12& 18 <br /> Right of Way; then northerly along the east property line for 430 feet to a point of <br /> beginning; then S 45° W for 650 feet; then N 45° W for 1000 feet; then N 45° E for 650 <br /> feet; then S 45° E for 820 feet; then southerly along east property ling for 260 feet to <br /> point of beginning. <br /> OPERATIONAL PLAN: <br /> Proposed site will be for quarrying and crushing of limestone to be used in the <br /> construction of US Hwy 12 & 18. Yahara Materials, Inc. proposes to operate the quarry <br /> from the Southeast corner of the initial opening, south towards County Trunk"N" as <br /> shown on the accompanying map. All topsoil overburden will be removed, and placed in <br /> separate piles. It will then be used for reclamation of the site. All drilling and blasting <br />
