The green dye shall be biodegradable and not inhibit plant growth. <br /> The hydro mulch shall conform to the following specifications: <br /> Percent moisture content, maximum 9.5 - 15.5% <br /> Percent organic matter, maximum 86.4 - 100% <br /> Percent organic matter, tackifier 2.5 - 3.5% <br /> pH 4.3 - 5.3 <br /> Water retention capacity(oz. H2O/oz. fiber) 1,000% <br /> The above specifications conform to Conwed Fibers Hydromulch 2000 or equivalent <br /> D. Method of Measurement -Measurement will be based on net masses of seed shipments or on <br /> quantities weighed on approved scales furnished by the contractor. Deductions will be made for <br /> any quantities wasted or not actually incorporated in the work in accordance with the contract. <br /> Seeding will be measured by the pound, which quantity will be the actual quantity furnished and <br /> sown in accordance with the contract, within the limits of such work designated on the plans or in <br /> the contract or as ordered by the supervising engineer. <br /> E. Basis of Payment - Seeding, measured as provided above, will be paid for at the contract unit <br /> price per pound for seeding, which price shall be full compensation for furnishing, handling and <br /> storing all seed, furnishing the required culture and inoculating the seed as specified; for furnishing <br /> and mixing all mulch, tackifier, dye; and for all hydro seeding equipment and all other labor, tools <br /> and.equipment necessary to complete the work. <br />
