PAGE 2 <br /> 8 . ACTIVITIES AT THE PIT: There will be an endloader that will be <br /> loading from 7 to 15 trucks that will be hauling out . <br /> 9 . AFFECTS ON EXISTING WATER: There is no natural water in the <br /> area. <br /> 10 . LAND USES WITHIN 300 FEET: The surrounding land is <br /> agricultural land. There is also a horse stable in the area. <br /> 11. PROPOSED LANDSCAPING DURING EXTRACTION: The area in question <br /> is located in a hidden valley behind the farm. Basically the <br /> pit will not be noticeable from Hwy. P . The top soil that <br /> will be stockpiled during the extraction may be noticeable as <br /> it will be in the hay field adjacent to the extraction site . <br /> 12 . ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> A. Access roads to the pit from county roads will be covered <br /> with recycled blacktop. <br /> B. This is a sand & gravel pit, all extraction will be done <br /> with an endloader, there will be no blasting at this site . <br /> C. There will be no crushing or washing operations at the site, <br /> the material will be hauled to our crushing plant in the Town <br /> of Vienna . We do have a screening plant that may run on <br /> occasion. This plant is run by an engine that merely <br /> separates out some sand. There will be no water used in the <br /> operations . <br /> D. The extraction site is basically a hill . We will be going <br /> down about 30 feet from the top of the hill . From the level <br /> of the road and the buildings we will be going down about 10- <br /> 20 feet . <br /> E. Reclamation of land will be done after the sand & gravel has <br /> been extracted. The land will be reclaimed to the <br /> landowner' s, William Wipperfurth, specifications based on his <br /> future use of the land which will be returning to <br /> agricultural use, as it is currently zoned. Mr. wipperfurth <br /> foresees it as being used as pasture land, crop land, cattle <br /> holding area and possible as a future building site . <br />
