Although <br /> there are no current plans to do so,at some point in the future Highland does intend to develop the remainder <br /> of the Property for burial space by platting it as a cemetery,but currently does not have a specific timetable <br /> for the expansion. <br /> D. Time Schedule for Development. <br /> Immediately upon granting of the rezoning and CUP, Highland will begin to use an approximately <br /> one-acre area in the northeast corner of the Property as a maintenance and storage area and as soon as <br /> possible will begin construction of the proposed maintenance building. <br /> Highland tentatively plans to begin construction of a mausoleum along County Highway BB within <br /> the next year. Development of the remainder of the Property for cemetery purposes will take place when <br /> economically feasible and the Cemetery nears capacity. <br /> E. Reasons Why Property is Suitable for the Proposed Use. <br /> The Property is adjacent to an existing cemetery. The proposed use will allow the existing cemetery <br /> to meet its immediate need for storage and maintenance as well as allow the cemetery to accommodate future <br /> growth and expansion. The surrounding properties will not be inconvenienced or negatively affected by use <br /> of the Property for cemetery use or the development of the Property for burial space. <br /> F. Number of Employees and Hours of Operation of the Proposed Use. <br /> Highland does not foresee use of the Property for cemetery purposes as requiring any additional <br /> employees at the Cemetery in the immediate future. Highland anticipates that the development currently <br /> under consideration can be absorbed by existing employees. <br /> The hours of operation of that portion of the Property intended for maintenance and storage purposes <br /> will be 8-4:30 Monday through Friday and 9-12 on Saturday. At all other times the maintenance and storage <br /> area will be closed off. As for those other areas of the Property that will be used for cemetery purposes,the <br /> areas will be open to the public for normal visiting times which is generally seven days a week during <br /> daylight hours. <br /> QBMAD\169074.1 <br /> • <br />
