Larry Bechler
■
From Jim Bricker, Business Manager k-
DEC 17 z t
Date: 16 December 1998 L. -
D.C. PLANNING &C ft :°
°+
RE: Zoning for NTCP ZONING D!VIS ::1
As I said I would, here is my attempt/recommendation to clarify the zoning actions that were
previously stated by the town.
Background: The Windsor Plan Commission considered petition #7290 (from A-3 to C-Z) at
their meeting on 23 July 1998. They recommended approval with the following uses to be
removed from the C-2 permitted list:
slaughter houses, and
bulk fuel storage - wholesale uses.
The Town Board recommended approving the rezoning (as recommended by the Plan
Commission) on 6 August 1998.
Issue: There are 2 problems in my opinion:
1. "Bulk fuel storage-wholesale"/does not appear as a permitted use. I am
presuming that the Plan Commission was recommending deletion of item
(h) Bulk fuel storage (and) sales [... and storage of lumber and building
materials.
I believe the Plan Commission's intent was to prohibit a large fuel depot use such as in
McFarland.
