The <br /> p cel is currently zoned agricultural and we wish to change the zoning to commercial <br /> UC- . The following information is being provided as required in the Dane County <br /> Planning &Development document titled: INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR FILING <br /> AN APPLICATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP), Item#3, <br /> WRITTEN STATEMENT. <br /> A. Existing and proposed uses of property: The property is currently vacant land. We <br /> are proposing to use the land as a practice yard for students learning how to operate heavy <br /> equipment. We are proposing a driveway off of Twin Lane and a parking lot as indicated <br /> in the Site Plan. We are not proposing any buildings or permanent structures on the <br /> property. <br /> B. Existing uses of all neighboring properties: Neighboring properties are all used for <br /> agricultural purposes. <br /> C. Time schedule for development: Development would start upon zoning approval <br /> and would last for approximately thirty days. <br /> D. Reasons why property is suitable for proposed use: Currently, the property is not <br /> being used. There should be no conflict with any neighboring properties. The township <br /> has given their verbal approval of the rezone. <br /> E.
