This proposed residential site meets most of the rezoning policy criteria; however, <br /> there is a question concerning access as expressed in the following town/county criteria in the <br /> Town of Cross Plains: <br /> "Land which will allow construction of a road or driveway suitable for emergency <br /> vehicle travel and safe access onto existing roadways. Compliance with the Town <br /> Driveway Ordnance will be required Every effort will be made to avoid having <br /> roads or driveways cross agricultural land to reach proposed non farm <br /> development." <br /> We note the proposed access to this site from the public road is a private easement following a <br /> field drive over some fairly steep slopes.
