• Page 2 May 4, 1998
Wetland area delineation was determine by Scott A. Storlid a Wetland Consultant (see Fig. 2). The
construction of the 9-hole golf course will impact the wetland a total of.1 acres. Swales in the existing
terrain that led to the wetland have been protected with silt fence with a buffer, before the water enters
the wetland or navigable creek. Plus the swales have seeded, fertilized and a noticeable catch of grass
is evident under the snow cover(see Fig. 2).
The existing drainage ditches or navigable creek will not be altered in anyway. The navigable creek
with the spring label on it has had some shoreline berm material removed from it The total removal
length was approximately 150 feet along the westside of the creek. An 18-inch metal culvert pipe was
replaced with a 42-inch metal culvert pipe in the navigable creek. Also my client would like to
construction a timber bridge over the navigable creek. We are working with the DNR and Army Corps
of Engineers for the proper permits.
Construction Timetable:
1.)Mid-April 1998 Disk and seed fairways and tee boxes.
2.)Mid-June 1998 Place irrigation system
3.)July 1998 Start green construction
4.)August 20, 1998 Seed greens
If you have any questions please call me at your earliest convenience at 221-3558.
