• <br /> C.U.P. #1484 Mineral Extraction <br /> Herfel Property - Town of Verona <br /> Proposed Conditions <br /> 5/13/98 <br /> 1. An archeological survey of the C.U.P. site shall be conducted by a qualified <br /> professional approved by the County, and the results forwarded to Dane County <br /> prior to beginning development of the site. The survey shall be paid for by the <br /> Operator. <br /> 2. An erosion control plan permit for each phase must be obtained from Dane County <br /> prior to beginning development of that phase. • <br /> 3. The mineral extraction phases shall be fenced per the plans with a five foot high <br /> fence as detailed in the plans. <br /> 4. The enclosure fence shall be signed with "no trespassing" signs. <br /> 5. The entrance to each phase shall be gated, and that gate shall have a locking <br /> mechanism. <br /> 6. The only access to Phase II shall be the existing field entrance on STH-69 as shown <br /> on the plans. The Phase II access shall be gated, and locked when not in use. <br /> 7. The fence around the Indian mound on the east boundary of Phase I shall be placed <br /> 25 feet from the described Indian mound. <br /> 8. The mineral extraction phases shall be surrounded by 15 foot high earthen berms as <br /> per the submitted plans. <br /> • <br /> 9. The berms shall be seeded and landscaped per the plans. <br /> 10. Phase I <br /> The berms on the west and north sides of Phase I shall have the planned <br /> landscaping completed within one year of beginning Phase I site development. <br /> 11. Phase II <br /> The berms on the south and east sides shall have the planned landscaping <br /> completed within one year of beginning Phase II site development. <br /> 12. All topsoil shall remain on the site. <br /> 13. There will be no drilling or blasting. <br /> 1 <br />
