One is an unnamed cemetery located in the SW,NE, <br /> SE quarter section and the second is an Indian mound,known as the Walker Mound, <br /> situated in the NE,SE,SE,SE quarter section. Copies of those records are attached for <br /> your information. <br /> Because Wisconsin's Burial Sites Preservation law protects burial sites from <br /> disturbance,I respectfully request that your department recommend that an archaeological <br /> survey of the southeast quarter section of Section 28 be completed prior to issuance of'the <br /> conditional use permit.
