The operator shall post and maintain at all times a bond or irrevocable letter of <br /> credit in favor of the Town of Cottage Grove and Dane County in the amount of <br /> $57,000 to ensure compliance with the reclamation plan. <br /> 8. Off-site removal of subsoil overburden shall not be allowed. <br /> 9. All drive aisles shall be either graveled or paved according to the revised operations <br /> plans, and shall be maintained in a dust free manner in accordance with local, state, <br /> and federal regulations. <br /> 10. Hours of operation, except for crushing, screening, and washing, shall be from 6 <br /> a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. <br /> Crushing, screening, and washing shall not occur before 7 a.m. on Monday through <br /> Friday and 8 a.m. on Saturday. No water shall be removed from the site in order to maintain groundwater discharge <br /> to adjacent areas. <br /> 16. The operator shall use spray bars (water) in the crushing process to reduce dust. <br /> Use of spray bars is not required when the temperature is below freezing. The <br /> operator shall spray the site with water if and when needed to control dust. <br /> 17. The operator shall require all trucks, excavation, crushing, screening and washing <br /> equipment to have muffler systems which meet or exceed then current industry <br /> standards for noise abatement. <br /> 18. If the Highway Commissioner determines that improvements to the intersection of <br /> the access road and CTH N are necessary as a result of the mineral extraction <br /> operation,the operator shall improve such intersection at its expense to the <br /> specifications of the Highway Commissioner. <br /> 1 . <br />
