14. Finally I am saddened that there is so much apparent opposition to this type of use. I <br /> was asked to take over as Town Chairman when Darryl Langer retired. I was asked to <br /> consider the position and no one else steped forward. I volunteered because Leola and <br /> I planned to remain here for a long time, which is now in question. If I had known <br /> that this precluded me from proceeding with what we now intend to do I would not <br /> have sought the office.
