Inpatient Facility <br /> and <br /> Administrative and In-Home Hospice Operations Center <br /> Facility Statement of Purpose <br /> This facility will be: <br /> • an identifying image of HCI in Dane County; <br /> • a design statement that: <br /> 0 clearly represents the HCI Mission and philosophy of care; <br /> 0 provides an outwardly inviting exterior -- a place that people look <br /> at and want to come into; <br /> 0 an interior that is comfortable -- people who utilize the space in <br /> whatever capacity feel the building supports the various intended <br /> purposes of the space; <br /> ♦ a highly efficient and functional use of space for the following purposes: <br /> 0 in-home operations, <br /> 0 inpatient care, <br /> 0 bereavement support, <br /> 0 community and public end-of-life education, <br /> 0 administrative support of all HCI programs. <br /> 0 As the inpatient program is developed, the importance of shared <br /> resources and effective, efficient relationships between the in- <br /> home operations and the inpatient program will become more <br /> apparent. The building design accommodates these potential <br /> interfaces. <br />
