Henshue Holdings, LLC.
Memorandum to Support Conditional Use Permit
Page 2
Approximately 50,000— 75,000 cubic yards will be removed from lot 7 annually. This
amount may vary or change, depending on market demand for fill sand material in the
surrounding area. In addition, some of the fill sand material will be used to grade and fill
in lots 1-6 when they are developed by Welton Enterprise. The majority of the fill sand
material will be trucked off site to construction projects within an approximate five (5)
mile radius of the property. There will be no blasting or drilling on the site. A
construction entrance will be installed and maintained during soil removal. If needed, the
construction entrance will be watered daily to control dust. Hours of operation will be
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on
Saturday. Trucks will exit the site onto Hoffman House Lane and then onto Highway 51.
When the extraction site is not open, the access road onto Hoffman House Lane will have
a gate securely locked.
Reclamation
After removal of fill sand material, lot 7 will be at the elevations as shown on Exhibit C.
In addition, throughout the entire fill sand extraction process, a detention basin will be
built and maintained in order to contain surface water on lot 7. All topsoil will be
stripped just prior to removal of fill sand material. This topsoil will be stockpiled on site
and later used to restore the site.
