Any conditional use/ special exception allowed under the ordinance is <br /> required to meet both of the following before a permit is granted: <br /> Note: Any structure or improvement made incident to a conditional use <br /> must meet both of these standards. <br /> a. The use must be "consistent with agricultural use" as defined n 23 <br /> in s. 91 .01 (10), Wis. Stats. U <br /> b. The use must be found necessary in light of alternative locations <br /> available for that use. <br /> p. 19 - ss. 10.123(3)(C) and (D); however, this is not listed <br /> as a required finding but as criteria to be considered in the application. <br /> 3. The ordinance requires that the Department shall be notified of all <br /> final actions granting conditional uses for land within an exclusive <br /> agricultural district. <br /> FARM CONSOLIDATION <br /> 4. Any separation of farm residences or structures from the larger farm <br /> parcel meets all of the following requirements: <br /> • The separation is for the purpose of farm consolidation n <br /> p. 20 - s. 10.123(3)(e) Z.. L_J <br /> • The residence or structures existed prior to the adoption of rI <br /> the ordinance <br /> p. 20 - s. 10.123(3)(e) <br /> • The separated parcel is no larger than reasonably necessary to [- <br /> accommodate the proposed use. U <br /> • The separation is a special exception/ condition use under the x r-i <br /> ordinance and is required to meet the standards under item 2 above. U <br /> p. 20 - s. 10.123(3)(e) <br /> SUBSIZE PARCELS IN EXCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL USE DISTRICTS <br /> 5. A parcel of less than 35 acres, is allowed, or created, in ONLY the <br /> following situations: <br /> (a) A previously existing nonconforming subsize parcel is included n <br /> in the district <br /> p. 6 - s. 10.01 (41); p. 20 s. 10.123(9) <br /> (b) A subsize parcel is created as part of a farm consolidation <br /> provision of the ordinance AN 1 1 <br /> p. 6 - s. 10.123(3)(e) <br />
