This residential site appears to be generally consistent with adopted <br /> town/county policies in the Town of Cross Plains, except for road access. <br /> The adopted policy states: "Land which will allow construction of a road or driveway suitable <br /> for emergency vehicle travel and safe access onto existing roadways." <br /> We note that the proposed residential site requires traversing approximately one-half mile <br /> of farm field road from the west end of W. Birch Circle, traveling south and then west. <br /> In the interest of consistency with policies and public safety, there needs to be some <br /> assurance that emergency vehicles can traverse this route safely. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> None <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> None <br /> OTHER <br />
