Kendall Kahl <br /> C21 Affiliated Roessler <br /> Cross Plains, Wis. 53528 <br /> December 16, 1997 <br /> Request to rezone from Al to A2 zoning <br /> Gary and Rose Achenbach purchased the Marge Danz farm this summer. <br /> Steve Danz, son of Marge Danz, asked if they could purchase 32 acres from Gary and Rose <br /> Achenbach. Steve, his wife Vicki and their daughter currently live on the north east corner of the <br /> original Danz farm. <br /> Concept Plan: <br /> Plans were drawn to accomplish several concerns: <br /> 1. Calculate the cash flow of the farm and acres required for Achenbachs to operate <br /> their sheep and beef operation. <br /> 2. Determine the number of divisions that could be allowed so as to set a fair price <br /> for Steve and Vicki Danz. <br /> 3. Plan for a future home for the Achenbachs and possibly their two sons. <br /> 4. Market the remaining parcels to allow for specialty farming, residential use or <br /> ability to rent back the Ag land , thus having someone else holding the <br /> investment in the land, resulting in a better cash flow for the Achenbachs. <br /> 5. Intent is to keep as much land in Ag as possible. <br /> 6. Met with Town Planning Commission and Town Board at the sites to view and <br /> discuss proposed uses. <br /> 7. Town Planning Commission met at public meeting November 17, 1997 to discuss <br /> and consider the request. Voted 7 in favor and 0 opposed. <br /> 8. Town Board met at public meeting November 17, 1997 and also discussed and <br /> approved 5 in favor and o opposed. <br /> 9. Only requirement of the Town Board was that the A2 zoning restrict the animal <br /> units to one per acre which the Achenbachs agreed to . <br />
