In other cases, zoning has been granted prior to county approval of the town plan <br /> amendment. <br /> 4. The reference to a subdivision was not necessary and is deleted in the corrected <br /> comments if the town has amended their plan and the county concurs. <br /> 5. The policy relating to lot size was missed in Petition 6875. As noted in#3 above, the <br /> actual status of this policy or amended policy needs to be clarified and resolved. <br /> 6. The approach of working with the local plan commission is recommended. The problem <br /> relates more to plan consistency or having the county and town using the same adopted plan. <br /> 7. The applicant has apologized for the accusation that these comments were a "strike at the <br /> Town of Berry" for their action on the Vision 2020 Land Use and Transportation Plan. <br /> Such an action would not be condoned by me, my Executive Director or the Regional Planning <br /> Commission. We have made many offers to meet with Town of Berry officials on various <br /> planning matters, including the update of their town plan.
