PETITION TO INCLUDE FISH LAKE UNDER STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM
<br /> Fish Lake displays the highest quality of any lake in Dane County
<br /> and is an important recreational resource for residents of Dane,
<br /> Sauk and Columbia Counties. In an effort to protect this
<br /> valuable resource, we petition the State of Wisconsin to purchase
<br /> undeveloped shorelines around Fish and adjoining Mud Lake.
<br /> Public ownership is critical to protect the rural landscape from
<br /> over-development, to protect water quality, and improve
<br /> fish/wildlife habitat. A critical piece of undeveloped lake
<br /> property is currently for sale!
