FEB 20 '98 10:49AM TOWN OF WESTPORT P.4/13 <br /> . <br /> WHEREAS, the Plan Commission and Town Board have reviewed the Plat and <br /> CUP, and met with legal counsel and with the owners and developers of the property, <br /> Nick Ladopoulos and Mary Layoun, doing business as Progressive Designs <br /> (collectively the "Developer"), with respect to the proposed development; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the use and density as <br /> proposed by the Developer is consistent with surrounding property uses, is consistent <br /> with the Town's Land Use Plan regarding this property, is consistent with the current <br /> zoning classification for the property, and is a much less intrusive and demanding use <br /> than other potential permitted uses for the property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the Plat and CUP will <br /> only be consistent with the Town Land Use Plan, applicable Town and County <br /> Ordinances, and Wisconsin Statutes, if the various conditions set forth in its written <br /> recommendation to the Board are met; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has previously held several open meetings <br /> and held a public hearing on the Plat and CUP on April 14, 1997, all at which it <br /> listened to public comment and considered the same in making its recommendation to <br /> the Board, which recommendation the Board has now reviewed and considered; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Board agrees with the findings of the Plan Commission <br /> noted above and in the written recommendation. <br /> H:1WIP1800611541CONRES2,TOW <br /> 0217981124 2 <br />
