RES.280,•1997-98 <br /> • AMENDING THE DANE COUNTY FARMLAND PRESERVATION PLAN <br /> (TOWN OF WESTPORT LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT) <br /> On January 6, 1997,'the Town Board of the Town of Westport adopted an amendment to the Town of Westport Land Use <br /> Plan. That amendment changes the land use plan map for the town by redesignating a 40-acre parcel from the Agriculture <br /> Preservation District to the Single Family Residential Development District. The parcel was added to the Central Urban Service <br /> Area in November 1997 and is proposed for residential subdivision. <br /> Dane County has adopted a farmland preservation plan under the authority vested by Chapter 91 of Wisconsin Statutes. <br /> The Dane County Farmland Preservation Plan includes town land use plans as central components. Therefore, amendments to <br /> town land use plans must be adopted by the County Board of Supervisors to also be considered amendments to the Farmland <br /> Preservation Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dane County Board of Supervisors adopts the town approved <br /> amendment to the Town of Westport Land Use Plan as an amendment to the Dane County Farmland Preservation Plan. <br /> 2. RES. 320, 1997-98 <br /> 0...,v‘Aam.d-40't INCREASING THE IMPREST FUND FOR THE DANE COUNTY PARKING RAMP <br /> • <br /> On August 5, 1993, via adoption of Resolution 89, 1993-94, the County Board approved the establishment of an $800 <br /> imprest fund to provide change for the money changing machine that was installed in the Dane County Parking Ramp in 1993. <br /> • <br /> On April 7, 1994, via adoption of Resolution 334, 1993-94 the County Board approved increasing the Imprest Fund from $800 to <br /> $1,200. The change machine permits parkers to obtain necessary change for meters 24 hours per day, seven days a week. <br /> The County pays for change runs to the bank by the run. The purpose of the change run is to convert the single dollar <br /> bills into change. On April-1, 1998,,meter'rates increased and it is'anticipated that additional funds will be needed to stock the <br /> change machine.
