Chapter 2 Dane County <br /> Ordinances, Section 2.03(2) and (3), provides that citations may be issued for enforcement of the Dane County <br /> Zoning Ordinance; and/or, <br /> The Dane County Zoning Ordinance provides under Section 10.25(5) that any person or persons, firm, <br /> company or corporation either owner, occupant or other user of the premises, who violates, disobeys, omits, <br /> neglects or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> subject to a forfeiture of not less than five dollars, nor more than two hundred dollars and costs. Each day that <br /> a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Compliance herewith shall be enforced by <br /> injunctional order at the suite of the county or occupant of real estate within the district affected by the <br /> regulations of this ordinance. It shall not be necessary to prosecute for forfeiture before resorting to <br /> injunctional proceedings. <br /> Any person who has the ability to pay any forfeiture entered against him under this ordinance but refuses to do <br /> so may be confined in the county jail until such forfeiture is paid, but in no event to exceed thirty (30) days. In <br /> determining whether an individual has the ability to pay a forfeiture, all items of income and all assets are <br /> subject to garnishment, lien or attachment by creditors. _ <br /> You are hereby notified that compliance will be expected no later than MARCH 28, 19.9.7.
