The Town Board approves and encourages your
approval of this petition. Lots 3 and 4 of the proposed certified survey map to be zoned RH-3 and RH-4,
are being created as part of a comprehensive conservation transaction between the town and the Dane
County Natural Heritage Foundation for the development rights on the entire 165+ acre property. (Pursuant
to the attached grant of Conservation Easement and Development Rights). Lots 3 and 4 have been deed
restricted to protect the wetlands, and only allow one single familty resident on each lot.
Lot 1, the three acre parcel to be dedicated to the town for park purposes will be temporatily zoned RE-1
until the town takes ownership of that parcel on or before April 1998. At that time the town will petition to
change the zoning to RH-1 with a conditional use permit for government use, which is consistent with our
Land Use Plan. Thank you for your prompt action on this petition.
Sincerely,
r,
Rosalind Gausman
Clerk Treasurer
