July 1, 1997 <br /> To: Dane County Land Division Review <br /> From: Vincent and Sarah Laufenberg <br /> 6497 Whalen Road <br /> Verona, WI 53593 <br /> Re: Rezoning Petition <br /> To whom it may concern, <br /> At this time we would like to request that our personal residence located at 6497 Whalen Road be <br /> rezoned from the current RH-1 zoning to R-3A. The following is the required filing information. <br /> 1. Legal description of the land is as described by the Certified Survey Map # 8061 Lot 2 (Document <br /> enclosed). <br /> 2. A 1" =40' scaled drawing of Lot 2 is enclosed. This drawing details buildings, drive and other <br /> improvements to the 3.2 acres. <br /> 3. Tax parcel number 31-0608-243-8031-6. <br /> 4. With this new zoning we would be allowed to section off a portion of the house for use as a rental <br /> unit. To help facilitate the possibility of a owner occupied 2 unit, scheduled improvements to the <br /> property will include a second story vertical expansion to the back half of the house(This will not <br /> increase the size of the buildings footprint), new septic system sized according to Dane County <br /> Human Services requirements, an addition of a second story deck to the south/west corner of the <br /> house, new roofing, siding, windows, insulation, and other energy upgrades. <br /> Included for your use are copies of a letter sent to our immediate neighbors to the left and right of our <br /> property and the closest property across the street.
