Application #7023.
"The people of the Town of Dunn have the ability and the right to guide their own
.destiny. " From the preface to the Town of Dunn Land Use Plan, 1987.
The purpose of this letter from the below signed property owners is to urge you
to reject any proposed zoning change for the above mentioned property. All of
the adjacent neighbors are unanimous in opposition to any proposed zoning
changes and are very concerned. A change in zoning would seriously decrease all
of our property values and quality of life.
Some of the many items of concern are the following:
1. water run-off from constant watering of the nursery stock.
affect on nearby wetlands
depleting water table, jeopardizing common well of neighbors.
2. Standing water in ditches
threatens existing septic fields in area with severe soil properties.
health issue-- breeding mosquitoes.
3. Security and privacy issues.
4. Operation of heavy equipment on residential and A-1 Exclusive land.
5. Noise nuisance.
6. Storage of combustible products.
7. Storage of fire hazardous materials.
Page 1
8/19/97
