Testimony of Sharon Royston,5613 Reeve Road, Mazomanie WI
at the ZNR Committee Meeting 9-23-97
I object to rezoning petition 7017 to A2(1) based on the
following:
1. Petition states in error that the parcel being rezoned is 2 miles
from the village: it is about 1/10th mile from the lands newly
annexed to the village for development.
2. I have been threatened at my home as a result of my testimony in
a Town of Black Earth public hearing on this petition. Testimony I heard
stated that a separate building would be built in the future
on additional acreage for a dog kennel.
4. The immediate area surrounding the parcel to be rezoned is amid
a rapidly urbanizing area with existing, and closely proximate,
residential use. The sketch gives you an idea of the current
density and that which is occurring due to current residential
