,
 WILLIAMSON SURVEYING CO., INC.
i 104A WEST MAIN STREET, WAUNAKEE, WI 53597
RONALD E.WILLIAMSON
REGISTERED LAND SURVEYOR
/f/ PHONE 1-608-255-5705 II N
December 14, 1995
•LAND SURVEYING
To; The Dane County Zoning and
Natural Resources Committee
This letter is in response to Regional Planning comments
on petition no. 6465 .
This land division is being proposed, so that Mr. Taylor ' s
son can afford a house of his own, which is the existing
house on proposed Lot 1 . Lot 2, which is vacant land,
and is not considered farmable land, is where Mr. Taylor
wants to build a new house for himself. Mr. Taylor has
been to the Town of Westport and has their approval for
the division.
The staff commented about a inactive mineral extraction
site to the north and a active site right next to the
proposed division. They are right on the inactive site to
the north but the one right east of the division is also
a inactive site. This site has not been used for at least
five years and it is actually being filled or reclaimed.
When the site was actived, these homes existed at that time
and there was no problems then. With the site being
reclaimed, there should be no reasons for any conflicts now.
We feel that because the Town has found the divison to be
acceptable, with their Town Plan and the fact that there
is no active mineral extraction site next to the proposed
division, that petition no. 6465 should be approved.
Sin571y yours,
/V 4 t(ii-At-4:' -----
Ronald E. Williamson
