Page 4 of 4 <br /> n CUP #708 <br /> 9. A good faith effort shall be made to leave several inches of clay on <br /> site. Surface of topsoil will be prepared prior to seeding such that <br /> roots could be established. <br /> 10. The land shall be kept in grassland/hay production for an initial five <br /> year period to allow soil structure to become re-established, and to <br /> assure no harmful effects to area groundwater. <br /> 11. After this initial period, the reintroduction of a more intense land use <br /> such as row-crop agriculture may be allowed based on soil test results <br /> and committee approval. <br /> 12. The village of McFarland and the Town Board will be notified of any <br /> requested changes in land use. <br /> 13. Soil testing shall include remapping based on soil borings. In <br /> addition, test plots shall be done to determine yields on the rebuilt <br /> soil so future nitrogen can be closely tied to yield expectations. <br /> 14. Groundwater monitoring wells may also be required. <br /> 15. Land use must follow State standards for nutrients and pesticides <br /> currently being set by the U.W. , State and Federal agencies. (These <br /> standards will be in effect before a petition for a land use change can <br /> be made, and they will establish specific soil series application rates <br /> for agricultural chemicals for the entire State of Wisconsin) . <br /> 16. All construction equipment and vehicles will be fueled and stored on <br /> land that has not had the clay removed. Farm equipment will also be <br /> stored and fueled on land that is not disturbed. <br /> 17. The County will keep Holscher Road in good repair and, if necessary, <br /> reconstruct Holscher Road after the clay has been removed. Dust control <br /> on Holscher Road will also he maintained. <br /> 18. Natural drainage on the site shall be restored and after reclamation <br /> there shall be no impoundment of water except for a pond at the South <br /> end of the C.U.P. 709 area. <br /> 19. There shall be no foreign material buried on the site. <br /> 20. There shall be no blasting on the site. <br />'�n <br />
