I find your initial support base impressive and <br /> your program well organized. <br /> The Madison School District maintains its interest in funding support for the initial architectural <br /> plans with the following reservations: <br /> 1) Any capital construction funds that the school district would borrow would need approval <br /> by voters within the school district. To be placed in referendum, Board of Education <br /> approval is required. For this reason, we may ask you as a representative of your <br /> organization to make a presentation to the Board at the appropriate time. <br /> 2) The school district may be restricted in its ability to invest taxpayer funds in any <br /> construction site located outside the Madison Metropolitan School District. <br /> 3) Our primary interest will be to provide competition sites for our Madison high schools. <br /> For that reason, the Reindahl Park Complex is of greater interest than the Verona site. <br /> Please keep us apprised of future decisions and plans. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> 416at <br /> • n R.
