Page 1 DANE COUNTY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 1310 THE ZONING AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD PURSUANT TO SECTION 10.255 (2) OF THE DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES DOES HEREBY: GRANT the conditional use permit subject to conditions. FOR: Governmental use - clay:1 tion EFFECTIVE DATE OF PERMIT: 5/14/96 E "IRATION DATE: 12/31/96 THE CONDITIONAL USE SHALL BE LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Part of the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11, Town of Verona described as follows: The SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11, Town of Verona. CONDITIONS These conditions are specifically made applicable to this permit, any violation of such conditions shall be sufficient grounds for revocation of this permit. 1. Hauling shall be across Cross Country Road to the Landfill. 2. Hauling shall be limited to one season in 1995. 3. There shall be a gradual feathered slope in all detention basins and ponds. No vertical walls. 4. In regards to dust, the Town Chairperson, if after physically viewing the site, deems that dust is causing a problem, will have the right to shut the job down until control measures correcting the problem can be implemented. 5. Approximately ten acres of land will be opened up for clay extraction at one time. When the excavation is complete on the first ten acres, the next ten acres will be stripped of topsoil. That topsoil will then be placed on the first ten acres stripped. This procedure will then be repeated for the following acres. After the topsoil is replaced, it will be graded and seeded. 6. Soil erosion control will be required and enforced. Siltation fences shall be constructed as required. 7. Hours of operation shall be 6:30 am to 5:30 PM. Truck hauling shall be limited to 7:00 am to 4:00 PM. The intent is that work days shall be Monday through Friday with the exception of an occasional Saturday for rain make-up. 8. A good faith effort shall be made to leave several inches of clay on site. Surface of topsoil will be prepared prior to seeding such that roots could be established.
