Page 1 <br /> DANE COUNTY <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 1310 <br /> THE ZONING AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD <br /> PURSUANT TO SECTION 10.255 (2) OF THE DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> DOES HEREBY: <br /> GRANT the conditional use permit subject to conditions. <br /> FOR: Governmental use - clay:1 tion <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE OF PERMIT: 5/14/96 E "IRATION DATE: 12/31/96 <br /> THE CONDITIONAL USE SHALL BE LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Part of the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11, Town of Verona described as <br /> follows: The SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11, Town of Verona. <br /> CONDITIONS <br /> These conditions are specifically made applicable to this permit, <br /> any violation of such conditions shall be sufficient grounds for <br /> revocation of this permit. <br /> 1. Hauling shall be across Cross Country Road to the Landfill. <br /> 2. Hauling shall be limited to one season in 1995. <br /> 3. There shall be a gradual feathered slope in all detention basins and ponds. No vertical <br /> walls. <br /> 4. In regards to dust, the Town Chairperson, if after physically viewing the site, deems <br /> that dust is causing a problem, will have the right to shut the job down until control <br /> measures correcting the problem can be implemented. <br /> 5. Approximately ten acres of land will be opened up for clay extraction at one time. <br /> When the excavation is complete on the first ten acres, the next ten acres will be stripped <br /> of topsoil. That topsoil will then be placed on the first ten acres stripped. This procedure <br /> will then be repeated for the following acres. After the topsoil is replaced, it will be <br /> graded and seeded. <br /> 6. Soil erosion control will be required and enforced. Siltation fences shall be constructed <br /> as required. <br /> 7. Hours of operation shall be 6:30 am to 5:30 PM. Truck hauling shall be limited to 7:00 <br /> am to 4:00 PM. The intent is that work days shall be Monday through Friday with the <br /> exception of an occasional Saturday for rain make-up. <br /> 8. A good faith effort shall be made to leave several inches of clay on site. Surface of <br /> topsoil will be prepared prior to seeding such that roots could be established. <br />
