I he depression areas are classified as farmed Wetland. <br /> Prior Converted Farmed Wetland, and Wetland by the National Resource & <br /> Conservation Service. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will not allow <br /> ditching or tiling any longer in these areas without permits. <br /> This project was considered by the last two previous land owners. one of whom is <br /> in a nursing home and the other who passed away on June 30, 1995. Other alternative <br /> considered previously were a large dairy or hog operation. 'I he golf course would be <br /> inure ecurioriiic and asthetic. <br /> The owner will start construction of the project when and if the necessary <br /> permits can be obtained from the Corps of Engineers, Department of Army, Wisconsin <br /> Department of Natural Resources, Dane County and Town of Rutland.
