r
April 29, 1996
Town of Vienna Plan Committee
Committee Members
Town of Vienna; DeForest, Wi ,6 &&OEVE'-°•
R
Re: Summary in writing of matters discussed at our 4/22/96 meeting
Dear Committee Members,
At our meeting on 4/22/96 the I met with your committee. You drafted guidelines which
you desired to use as your committee begins to review the Anderson Zoning request.
Those guidelines included site and deed restrictions which may make the use acceptable
under the Vienna Plan and also written reasons the Town may use if their choice is to
grant this non-comforming use a variance under our ordinance. The above items were
considered extremely important to insure uniform application for all zoning requests in
the future which may require a variance to be considered.. These are as follows:
SUGGESTIONS
To consider for Anderson Zoning Request
1)Number of buildings allowed on the site
A-no additional buildings will be allowed to be constructed
2)No direct sales to be allowed on the property- or public displays allowed for such
material as landscaping supplies, materials, sand, gravel, rocks, timbers ect.
3)No advertising signs allowed on the property or in the general area(1 mile)which
direct the public to this limited business
4)No on site construction or fabrication- assembly would be allowed if it did not
require welding ect. for a major portion of the assembly
5)Amount of construction equipment allowed to be stored on the site
A- No storage of construction equipment which is not owned or leased by the owner
6) Required property screening
A- Materials must be screened from view through use of fencing, dirt berms, or
landscaping-or a combination of the foregoing. c/ , 5 rs-
B- some off season and un-screened storage of piers may be allowed in designated
areas for restricted periods(suggestion: Nov 1- to May 1)
7)Uses which would be allowed in an Lc-1 District
A- a specific list of uses must be agree upon which would be allowed. All uses not
listed would be in violation of the zoning approval- if granted
With agreement on the conditions listed above, under suggestions, or similar use
conditions which may be agreed upon- the committee and the town board would next
need to state reasons and conditions under which they would support a Town Plan
