, <br /> Petition 6671 -- CUP 1354 (cont) i <br /> I <br /> • - <br /> - The apparent intent is for the A-B Agri-Business site to remain with the farm <br /> ownership, therefore not creating a division. 1 <br /> Limited Family Business <br /> The horse and livestock related activities of the A-2(8) parcel are subject to the following policy: <br /> To carefully review any proposed commercial recreation activity. This rec c gnizes <br /> that there may be requests for land extensive activities in agricultural area's for <br /> uses such as golf courses, campgrounds, horse boarding stables, horse riding <br /> stables (rental of horses) and other such uses requiring rezoning and/or <br /> conditional use permits. 1, <br /> Applicants will be required to submit a site plan of their proposal (please Ieference <br /> site plan requirements listed on pg. 18) as well as a written report addres. ing the <br /> concerns noted below. <br /> Such uses may be allowed if limited to: ,,1 <br /> a. Those areas having less productive farmland. 1 <br /> b. Those areas with minimal impact on farming operations { <br /> c. Those uses with minimal construction development, thus allowing future re-use <br /> as farmland. <br /> d. Those uses and locations having a minimal effect on existing nearby uses. <br /> e. Locations which have direct access to state or county highways If tow roads are <br /> involved, the applicant must demonstrate minimal impact to neighbors. If the town <br /> road requires improvements, the applicant will be asked to pay for the share of such <br /> improvement. <br /> f. A size of area and magnitude of operation which protects the rural at iosphere <br /> and scenic beauty of the town. 1 <br /> g. Service facilities appropriate to the proposed use and to rural location. <br /> Comments: <br /> Note that a site plan and a written report are to be required. Because of the complexity of <br /> this petition and the multiple uses involved, the site plan should probably address the <br /> entire petition and not simply the A-2(8) area. <br /> We note that the applicant has agreed to submit a site plan for review of the C.U.P. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> OTHER <br /> 1 <br />
