(2) <br /> Mr. Griffin has been my neighbor and friend for a long time and I really <br /> don't know what his concern is. He has said he knows this area will and <br /> should be infilled but seems to think the infilling should be from South to <br /> North as opposed to my thinking and the Town Boards thinking that this <br /> infilling be from North to South , primarily because of the connecting Road <br /> that has already been built through that area. He made that argument to the <br /> Town Board and alternatively proposed that the entire 40 acres be rezoned <br /> to R-1 at this time. The Town Board did not agree with his suggestions and <br /> voted 4 to 0 to approve the rezoning in accordance with this petition. <br /> The Town Board has sent you their writtin report and recommendation, however, if you <br /> have any doubt about their position I will provide you the following information: <br /> Town Chairman Gene Skaar is out of the Country and will not be back until <br /> Thursday July 25, 1996. <br /> You can contact either Acting Chairman Silvin Kurt at 764-5176 or Supervisor <br /> Kris Hampton 271-6491 (work) 839-4748 (home) . <br /> My understanding of the County Executives position is that he would not approve any <br /> new unsewered Subdivisions. This is not a new Subdivision but merely the infilling <br /> between existing developed portions of an existing Subdivision. I am confident <br /> that the Executive could and would be comfortable approving this infilling within <br /> the guidelines of his stated position and the approved Town Land Use Plan. <br /> I intend to be in attendance at your July 23, 1996 work session and will be available <br /> to answer questions. <br /> Thank you for your service and your attention; <br /> John Dahl <br /> 222-3632 <br />
