Other bids were Mr. Rhody <br /> $4150.00, Ken Uebersetzig $3500.00, Tom Curran $2595.00, Mr. Stalter $2500.00, <br /> Steve Fenley $2025.00 and Steve Johnson $1551.00. <br /> Action <br /> Ken Hefty moved and Dan Keller seconded a motion to sell the tractor to <br /> Mr. Meise who had the highest bid and he must pay by certified check or <br /> wait until the check clears to pick up the tractor or it will go to the next <br /> bidder. Motion carried. <br /> 6. Ordinance amendment #43 on the height of pylon signs. <br /> Action <br /> Ken Hefty moved and Dan Keller seconded a motion to approve OA #43. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Comments by Town Residents Mr. Kittleson brought it to the Town's attention that <br /> his legal description is incorrect. It should be Hwy H not Hwy Y. <br /> Mark Judd stated that his drive needs gravel. He was told Mitch would take care of it. <br /> 8. Mt. Horeb Biathalon. Mt. Horeb needed permission to use some Town roads for <br /> the Biathalon. Action <br /> Ken Hefty moved and Dan Keller seconded a motion to approve the use <br /> of Overland Rd, Sutter Rd. and Blue Valley Rd. for the Mt. Horeb <br /> Biathalon. Motion carried. <br /> 9. Land Use Plan Maps. Susi Nehls, speaking for the Natural Resource Committee, <br /> asked for permission for the committee to look for free sources of maps for the Land <br /> Use Plan. She was told they don't need permission. She also asked if a State <br /> archeologist agreement could be put on the September agenda to see if there are any <br /> sites of significance in Perry. She was told the Land Use Committee would have to <br /> request it. <br /> 10. Payment of Bills. Pat Jeglum was told to look into buying a computer for herself <br /> for treasurer work. <br /> Action <br /> Ken Hefty moved and Dan Keller seconded a motion to approve the bills <br /> for August listed in Addendum #1. Motion carried. <br /> 11. Treasurers Report The money market account has $102, 723.99 and the <br /> Checking account has $3098.99. Pat Jeglum stated that she sent a letter about 10 <br /> delinquent dog owners into Corporation Council. <br /> 12. Town Road Repair Mitch Sutter presented a current list of road work completed <br /> and those still needing repair. <br /> Action <br /> Dan Keller moved and Ken Hefty seconded a motion to hire Bringgs to <br /> Jet Crete the culverts on Lund Rd. Motion carried. <br /> 13. Chippers for the Town Mitch Sutter and Pat Downing brought pamphlets and <br /> prices on several chippers. It was decided to wait and talk to other Towns to see if <br /> they would share the cost and chipper and also to have some demos. <br /> 3 <br />
