This residential area was rezoned after extensive discussions and negotiations <br /> (Petition 6212, Public Hearing March 1995, and adopted by Co. Bd. October 1, 1995). <br /> With the present RH-1 zoning and a parcel of 7.10 acres, there could be up to 3 lots with single <br /> family homes permitted on this area. <br /> The request for rezoning is for R-3 A Duplex. This zoning district permits duplexes on lots of not <br /> less than 20,000 sq. feet, and not less than 100 ft. in width at the building setback line. <br /> With the proposed dimensions of this rezoning, a total of 5 duplexes or 10 dwelling units could be <br /> permitted. <br /> This is significantly more density of housing than was previously approved. There needs to be <br /> clarification as to why duplexes are proposed and justification for any additional housing units. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> CTH "TT" is not a controlled access highway. No access to CTH "TT" will be permitted. <br />
