Huston- Owners PROPERTY RECORDS
2561 Coffeytown Road
Cottage Grove, WI 53527
SUBJECT: Dane County Conditional Use Permit# 1405 - for Mineral Extraction
Dear Mr. Gregorius:
It was just brought to our attention Friday(2/21)that the Zoning Board might consider the
agricultural ditch to the east of our conditional use permit area a navigable water which would
require us to get a Special Exception Permit under Shoreland Regulations. We have been told
from the begining from the WisDNR that these ditches are "Agricultural ditches"and"not
navigable waters". We have enclosed copies of our engineers (JJR) correspondences with the
WisDNR. It should also be mentioned that we are not taking away storage from the area but we
are doing the opposite, adding storage to the area. We are willing to apply for the permit if need
be but we feel like it is not need in this case. Thank you for your time. If you have any questions
please call us at 255-5052.
Sincerely,
Huston Holdings L.L.C.
Dale R. Huston Dwight D. Huston
