Tom Borchert 4146233431 P. 08 <br /> March 28, 1997 <br /> Dane County Zoning 6 Resource Committee <br /> I'm writing this letter to oppose the rezoning of Mr. Smithback's property. <br /> I'm the land owner of the property just North of Mr. Smithback. <br /> I'm concerned about setting a precedence for building residential homes off a <br /> major road of great distance. So if Mr. Smithback is allowed to build off the <br /> road about 1/4 mile how can we stop anybody else from doing the same. <br /> Mr. Smithback will be splitting this farm up in sections if this is allowed. <br /> He also will be using up quite a bit of good farm land for the driveway. <br /> Also, I do not understand why Mr. Smithback would want to build a home. He <br /> owns two homes already, one which was rezoned off the property already. The <br /> home that was rezoned has a shed where he stores his dump truck and is close to <br /> a major road. This home is only about 20 years old and in good condition. He <br /> still chooses to live in town, so I don't believe he will move out there anyway. <br /> drUcACLI- <br /> odney Hebei <br />
