PLAN COMMISSION MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 11, 1995 <br /> Present: Steve Greb, Chairperson, Jim Molloy, Bob Uphoff, Margaret Lalor, Conrad Campbell, <br /> Eleanor White. Absent: Lorraine Gardner, Bob Uphoff <br /> I. Minutes - August 14, 1995 <br /> Motion: Uphoff/Lalor to approve the minutes of August 14 as submitted. Carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> II. Announcements <br /> A. Correspondence from County Executive Rick Phelps regarding the <br /> misinterpretation of the 35 acre rule, and a letter regarding his proposed change <br /> for the zoning process. <br /> B. Received the State Report of the Special Committee on Protection of Rural <br /> Resources. <br /> C. Received the "Common Ground" Report of the DNR Land Use Task Force. <br /> III. Business <br /> A. Dick Christenson was present to discuss his proposal to buy the Sinaiko property <br /> and create 13 lots with 80' frontage along Waucheeta Trail. The land is zoned <br /> R-3, in the sanitary district, the sewer lines are in with laterals to serve the <br /> proposed lots. Dick said if he were able to split off 13 lots he could keep the rest <br /> of the farm in agriculture. He feels otherwise there is a threat this entire parcel <br /> will be annexed to the city of Madison and developed to the fullest extent. The <br /> commission checked the central urban service area maps by Regional Planning <br /> Commission and determined this property is not in the urban service area, <br /> therefore the commission feels the property is only entitled to five splits. <br /> B. Motion: Campbell/Molloy to recommend approval for a lot line adjustment by <br /> certified survey map for LaVerne Swiggum for lots 3 and 4 of the Replat of Ole <br /> J. Quams Park. Carried unanimously. <br /> C. Motion: Campbell/Lalor to recommend denial of Dane County Zoning Petition <br /> • i • • CUP 1285 for Gene Allen as originally petitioned. Note: Mr. Allen <br /> this petition to a 2 acre area that includes a proposed 220x90 arena <br /> arkin area for 20 a <br /> O�� c rs.
