Despite the <br /> engineering and the safe operation of similar recycling facilities across the country,the unknown <br /> extent of the existing contamination in Gaston Quarry combined with misconceptions of the <br /> recycling center,would only cause great liability for DeConstruction. In the future, <br /> DeConstruction does not want to fight legal battles to disprove any unforeseen or misconceived <br /> contamination it never caused. <br /> The time and effort you have spent reviewing this proposal is greatly appreciated and far from <br /> wasted. No matter where DeConstruction,Inc. locates the recycling center, we will have to obtain <br /> a conditional use permit. Therefore,we ask that you keep the information we sent to you about <br /> the recycling center for future reference. <br /> In the future,DeConstruction hopes to work closer with the Regional Planning Commission and <br /> the Zoning Committee prior to applying for new locations. In the meantime,thank you for your <br /> consideration and support for the recycling concept.
