Smiley, Director <br /> Community and Regional Development Planning <br /> DATE: May 10, 1995 <br /> RE: Comments on Petition 6264 - Deerfield <br /> As I noted by phone, the RPC staff comments on the Agenda Packet materials for Petition 6264 <br /> on May 9, 1995 are incorrect. The comment printed indicates the proposed trucking business <br /> is consistent, while the comment we submitted indicated conflicts with the 1993 Town of <br /> Deerfield Plan as adopted by Dane County. <br /> I am attaching the correct comments and the relevant maps for submission to the Committee. <br /> I recognize that the Village and town officials have chosen to approve this rezoning; however, <br /> this plan was adopted by Dane County in 1993. County officials should be making informed <br /> decisions about this in deciding whether to compromise with local officials or ask for rationale <br /> about this conflict with the County Plan. <br /> TLS:lel <br /> RPC <br />
