Why is this <br /> subdivision now 41 lots? Commission members recalled initial <br /> discussion/plans included approximately 25 lots . Mr . Weir explained <br /> that an existing home with approximately 5 acres included within the <br /> plat can no longer be classified as an outlot by county standards. <br /> Thus it became Lot 41 . c; <br /> _hr. Green refreshed commission members' <br /> memories by stating that when the rezoning request for this subdivision <br /> was brought to the Town Board for approval , the Town Board passed a <br /> motion to grant up to 40 lots . Concern expressed about park land <br /> including the water retention pond; liability for the Township , and not <br /> suitable for park purposes . Size of parkland parcel not adequate for a <br /> park . Payment in lieu of parkland much too low. Town would <br /> financially be much better off to take the full acreage required and <br /> then do as they see fit . Idea presented of negotiating with Mr . <br /> Linnerud to receive greater payment and no land, thus enabling town to <br /> buy more parkland to improve facilities and use at nearby Quam Park . <br /> Motion by L . Preston to approve 1 . 9 acres of Parkland, not including <br /> the water management area. The water retention area is to remain with <br /> the present owner ; be deed- restricted so no structures will be built on <br /> it; be security fenced from the park , with the town assuming no <br /> liability . $2 , 500 is to be paid in lieu of more parkland. Motion <br /> second by R . Green and passed 4-3 with R . Hougan , P. Tyler . and <br /> Gregorich opposed . <br /> 10) CITY OF STOUGHTON/TN . OF PLEASANT SPRINGS : Joint agreement to <br /> limit development on both sides of CTH B from 51 to CTH N . to only <br /> sewered, residential development . Town Board has asked Plan Commission <br /> to draft an amendment /revision to Town Land Use Plan that would <br /> address joint agreement . Motion by C . Gregorich , second by L . Preston <br /> to set a Special Land Use Revision work meeting for Wed. Jan.. 4 „ 1995 . <br /> Motion passed. <br /> ADJOURNMENT AT 10: 30 P.
