The plan
includes the following requirements:
1. The site may only be accessed off Black Cherry Court using a stone tracking pad. The pad
must be 50' long x 24' wide x 12" deep, and constructed of 3-inch clear stone. No other
access may be used and material deposited in the road must be cleaned up throughout
and at the end of each workday. If the tracking pad is rendered ineffective, it must be
replaced in kind, and all construction traffic halted until the replacement is complete.
2. Silt fence must be installed prior to grading in the locations shown on the plan and
where deemed necessary, including down slope of all soil stockpiles. The silt fence must
be maintained until the site is vegetated and stabilized. 12" diameter silt sock may be
used in place of silt fence.
3. A temporary stone weeper must be installed in the locations shown on the plan and
where deemed necessary. Sediment must be removed from the upslope side of the
check dam once it reaches % its height. The weeper may be removed once vegetation
has been established.
4. The areas identified on the plan must be erosion matted during final site stabilization.
The erosion matting must meet the WisDOT class and type as specified in the plan.
5. Culvert and pipe outfalls must be protected by rock riprap as shown on the plan. The
riprap must be installed such that it forms a bowl-shape with a depth of at least 12" to
dissipate runoff energy.
6. Ditches must be constructed according to the design included in the plan, with a
trapezoidal shape and a minimum 2' flat bottom.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
5201 Fen Oak Drive,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718-PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
http://lwrd.countyofdane.com/wred/
