Dahl, President, Epicentre Technologies Corporation
Re: Rezone Petition # 6242 from RH1 to C2
Dear Gentlepersons;
I believe that we have already addressed most of the concerns of the neighbors and of
Mr. Bradley Murphy, Planning Unit Director for the City of Madison, related to rezoning
of the property known as the William's farm from RH1 to C2 by agreeing to a number of
deed restrictions which we proposed and which were already accepted by the Town of
Madison.
However, since the Town meeting yesterday, we learned about one additional concern
of the neighbors on Nottingham Way in the City of Madison, which is also expressed in
the letter from Mr. Murphy which you and we received today. That concern is related to
drainage of stormwater from any impervious surface improvements which might be
built on the southeast side of the property at some time in the future. Of course we
would not want to cause drainage problems for our neighbors because of our improve-
ments, and Epicentre Technologies would be pleased to agree to an additional deed
restriction in favor of the Town related to the control of drainage from impervious
improvements, as presented in the distributed addendum to our proposed deed
restrictions. This should resolve the only remaining issue which has been brought
to our attention.
Therefore, since our purchase of the property is contingent upon its rezoning within
90 days of acceptance of the offer and, provided that you have already received the
favorable recommendation of the Town of Madison, we respectively request that you
make a decision in favor of rezoning from RH1 to C2 at this time.
1202 Ann Street, Madison, WI 53713 Tel: (608) 258-3080 Toll-Free (800) 284-8474 FAX (608) 258-3088
