• <br /> EPICENTRE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION' S <br /> POSITION RELATED TO DEED RESTRICTIONS <br /> Related to the Petition of Epicentre Technologies <br /> Corporation, Petition #6242, to rezone the Williams <br /> farm property, located in Section 33 of the Town of <br /> Madison, from RH-1 to C-2, Epicentre Technologies <br /> Corporation agrees that the following restrictions and <br /> limitations be imposed by appropriate deed <br /> restrictions : <br /> 1 . Permitted uses . Notwithstanding the permitted <br /> uses designated for the C-2 Zoning District, the <br /> permitted uses shall be expressly limited to the <br /> following: <br /> a . Offices, office buildings and condominium <br /> office buildings . <br /> b . Experimental laboratories, manufacturing, <br /> assembly plants, warehousing, storage, distribution <br /> centers and wholesale businesses, provided that such <br /> uses shall be further expressly limited and restricted <br /> to the present business interests of Epicentre <br /> Technologies Corporation, which include : the isolation <br /> of protein from natural sources, research and <br /> development, manufacture and sale of biotech reagents, <br /> kits, instruments, software and other tools for basic <br /> research and analysis and other applications in <br /> biology, medicine and agriculture, including <br /> diagnostics and pharmaceuticals . Notwithstanding the <br /> foregoing, this restriction and limitation shall be <br /> interpreted to permit any other person or company which <br /> operates a business which is substantially similar to <br /> the business operated by Epicentre Technologies <br /> Corporation with respect to the intrusion and <br /> offensiveness to the neighborhood related to volume of <br /> traffic, the level of noise, the presence of offensive <br /> Pave 1 of 4 <br />
