. - - <br /> Town of Cottage Grove <br /> Plan Commission Meeting <br /> April 27, 1994 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7 : 30 PM <br /> Motion to approve the minutes of the March 23 meeting by Mr. <br /> Griffin Mr. Griffin notes that the workshop scheduled for 4/20/94 <br /> was not held. Seconded by Mr. Hampton. Motion carried <br /> Scott and Lavonne Mancheski - 4254 Ridge Rd. - Zone change on 13 <br /> acres more or less - RH 3 to RH 1 on 4+ acres and RH 2 on 9 <br /> acres. Reappearance - Approval required. <br /> It has been determined that there are presently 2 buildable <br /> parcels. At the present time there is a building on lots number 2 <br /> and 3 which parcels total 1/2 acre of land. Lot number 1 contains <br /> the balance of the land owned by the Mancheskis. The plan as now <br /> constructed is to transfer some of the lot 1 to be added to lots <br /> 2 & 3 , and to create a new 2 acre property. These 2 lots will be <br /> zoned as RH 1 . That will leave 10 acres which will be zoned RH 2 <br /> and will permit one more buildable parcel. It was also discussed <br /> that all present accesspoints to Ridge Rd be combined into one . <br /> There were no appearances either for or against. <br /> Motion to approve proposal based on Birrencot survey and subject <br /> to one driveway for all parcels. by Mr. Griffin. Hearing no <br /> second, the motion was withdrawn. <br /> Motion to deny based on creation of additional lot and violates <br /> the Land Use Plan specifically part IV Districts and Policies, <br /> Agricultural District, Policies, 3, "To limit non- farm <br /> residential development to those areas with soils not classified <br /> as prime farmland or those of Statewide importance (as shown on <br /> soil map) . . . " By Mr. Querin-Schulz. Seconded by Mr. Hampton. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion'eV Mr. Mancheski may return to the Plan Commission to <br /> rework lines on the buildable parcels by Mr. Griffin. Seconded by <br /> Mr. Scherer. motion carried unanimously. <br /> It was pointed out that Mr. Mancheski may a <br /> Board. Clay to be <br />/ 132 used to construct liners and caps at Dane County Landfill. - <br /> Reappearance- Approval required. <br /> Mr. Czecholinski referred to a three page letter from the Dane <br /> 9Q . <br />
