It is under an accident
reduction project .
The neighbors do not want the dust the noise or the
hole.
There has been no length of time given that this
excavation will be worked
the five properties around it will be reduced
they will be unable to sell their properties because no
one will want to live next to a pit
The wild life will be affected because of the dust
noise and the change in the landscape.
Mark Dupre of 3190 County "N" I 'm a land and business owner
with great concern for my property. I own 4 1/2 acres with
600 feet adjoining the excavation site. I have a wholesale
produce business and I will be opening a country market
within the next 45 days . A u-pick vegetable operation is
planned for next year. I currently have 12 employees and
expect to have 30 by 1995 . I expect to gross over $2
million. I have invested all of my capitol in the last five
years building my business . I chose to locate my business on
this site because of the commuter traffic . The value of my
property exceeds that of the entire 77 acres in question.
I am concerned about the destruction of prime
agricultural land right behind my business
I want more information about the environmental impact.
I am concerned about water infiltration into the ground
I am concerned about as many as 200 trucks per day
passing through a dangerous intersection.
