Dane County Zoning Dept.
Zoning Petition # 5923
May 11, 1994
Page 2
2. What about the elimination of manure for unlimited
livestock?
* Less than 7.9 acres of land does not facilitate the
easy elimination of the increased amount of manure
produced by unlimited livestock
* Currently their pasture drains into the lower
quarter of our property, creating a small pond in
the spring. Will this pond now contain an excess
of unlimited animal waste run off?
3 . How can 2 "seasoned" people maintain an UNLIMITED number
of livestock?
* And still keep the property neat and clean
* We already have 1 neighbor who frequently leaves
dead and half eaten pigs at the end of their
driveway for several days before they're removed.
4. WHAT ABOUT FUTURE OWNERS?
* With the A-2 zoning and conditional use permit,
would it be "anything goes"?
* What would future property owners be allowed to do?
* Would we, as neighbors, have any say in what would
be allowed?
5. Why does a family home require 40 acres of land, but
UNLIMITED livestock can be located on less than 7.9
acres?
Thank you for reviewing our concerns. Please keep them in mind as
you make your decision.
Sincerely,
13iane A. Krantz and
Forrest W. Bradley, Jr:
/j /`c y'
L
/4/ i2s
