•
Mr. Rick Schoenemann
May 24, 1994
Page 2
You indicated that someone at Dane County Zoning told you that it would be necessary to change to
zoning of this nonconforming parcel to permit sale of the property. You could not recall the name of the
person he talked to.
On Friday, May 19, I talked with Bill Fleck at Dane County Zoning (phone 266-9083). Mr. Fleck
indicated that the 34 acre parcel is "in limbo" at present and could not have any type of development
without rezoning. This would not, however, prevent the sale of the property.
RECOMMENDATION
My recommendation would be that either:
1. Parcels "B" and "D" per Exhibit G be re-combined, rezoned to Exclusive Ag and be sold as
single entity, with no further development to occur.
or,
2. Parcel "B" per Exhibit G be allowed to be sold separately, and parcel "D" per exhibit G remain
"in limbo" zoning-wise and be deed-restricted from any development as discussed by General
Policy B.1 & 2 on page 31 of the current Mazomanie Land Use Plan.
This recommendation must be considered advisory only. The Town of Mazomanie Board must make final
recommendation.
Sincerely,
Town of Mazomanie Land Plan Committee
Fred C.
